The nearest train station is Bury St Edmunds, where you can catch either the number 16 or 355 bus to Hengrave Hall bus stop. Both bus routes take 15 minutes, and are about 30 minutes apart.
At carriages, busses will not run, and there is no Uber. There are local taxi companies, and it’s recommended to book before the date.
As it’s a bank holiday weekend, you’ll want to check nearer the time for anything like engineering works, bus replacement services, or reduced bus services.
The nearest town is Bury St Edmunds: it’s about 2 miles away, and has plenty of accommodation options.
